STUDIES
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentine and gold medal graduate of the Manuel de Falla Conservatory, Javier Bravo did advanced guitar studies with Vicente Elías and studied composition with Rodolfo Daluisio.

: UNISA (Pretoria, South Africa 1995) and Printemps de la Guitare (Walcourt,
Belgium 1996)
CONCERTS
He gave numerous recitals of solo guitar
music, ensemble music and guitar and orchestra concertos in Argentine,
Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay, México and USA, invited by International Festivals like
Guitarras del Mundo, Guitarras en Concierto (Argentine), International
Festival of Lausanne (Switzerland) and International Festival Eduarrdo
Fabini (Uruguay).
He has appeared as soloist with the Bahía Blanca Symphonic, National Symphonic, University of Tucumán, EMET and Congress String Orchestras in Argentina, performing Rodrigo, Vivaldi, Piazzolla, and his own concerto music.
RECORDINGS
Spain: from Albéniz
to Paco de Lucía was his first Cd and was released in 2002. It gathers classic pieces of spanish
music together with less known pieces and his Suite Hispana, an homage to Joaquín Rodrigo. In 2004 Javier released two Cds: A duo (together with Silvana Saldaña) with music ranging from Baroque to LatinAmerican contemporary and Argentine Guitar Collection which contains a selection of traditional and new pieces of argentine folk and tango music.
TEACHING
Javier gave masterclasses in Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and USA and has an active guitar-teaching schedule at main
music Conservatories of Buenos Aires such as the Carlos Buchardo National Conservatory, Astor Piazzolla Conservatory and Manuel de Falla Conservatory.
COMPOSER
As a composer he wrote and arranged music
for several instruments including symphonic and electroacoustic music.
His musical language is inspired by popular Argentine music and jazz,
together with sound resources and procedures of contemporary music.
